Stacks/The Law Firm, Gold Coast, is a dynamic legal practice with offices located in Murwillumbah, Tweed Heads and Surfers Paradise.

Stacks/The Law Firm Gold Coast, formerly Halliday & Stainlay, began when Ted Halliday commenced legal practice in Murwillumbah in 1891, with a branch office at Coolangatta.  This office was the earliest legal firm on the Gold Coast.  Halliday teamed up with Leo Stainlay after the second World War, beginning a successful partnership. Bill Stainlay succeeded his father as a partner in 1969.
